17 Sep El Alamein International Airshow 2026
The meetings took place in the unique setting of the El Alamein International Airshow 2026, held from 8 to 10 September at El Alamein International Airport.
The second edition of the event brought together major international stakeholders from the aviation, aerospace and defence sectors, combining an industry exhibition, conferences, static aircraft displays and international flying demonstrations.
The Airshow was officially inaugurated by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and welcomed high-level representatives, industry leaders and aviation professionals from numerous international markets.
EgyptAir participated as Official Carrier of the event, reinforcing the airline’s role within Egypt’s aviation industry and its international positioning.
For IAS Air Cargo, however, the most important part of the El Alamein experience went beyond the Airshow itself.
It was the opportunity to bring together the people who represent EgyptAir Cargo every day around the world.
Joint Meeting with GSA partners , sharing the realities of our respective markets and discussing common challenges reminded us that a global cargo network is not built only through routes, capacity and commercial strategies.
It is built through people, trust, dialogue and long-term partnerships.
The days spent together created an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, exchange ideas and look at future scenarios from different market perspectives.
They also confirmed the importance of maintaining a continuous dialogue between EgyptAir Cargo and its international GSA community, whose local expertise represents an important link between the airline and customers across the world.
The experience in El Alamein therefore represented much more than participation in an international aviation event: it was a moment of connection, collaboration and shared vision.
IAS Air Cargo is proud to be part of the EgyptAir Cargo international network and to continue contributing, from the Italian market.
Our sincere thanks to EgyptAir Cargo’s Chairman, Vice President, Management for the warm welcome, the constructive discussions and the opportunity to share these memorable days together.
